DEATH OF HENRY ALLINGHAM

Nigel Waterson commented today on the death of Henry Allingham:

"It was a real privilege to have Henry as a constituent for many years. As recently as last Wednesday, I mentioned him in a Debate in the House of Commons. Henry never lost his roguish sense of humour and thoroughly enjoyed all the attention. But he never forgot his comrades who did not make it home from the Great War. Henry was a larger than life character and I shall miss him."
